Yesterday my sister had her confirmation along with several other kids at the church of Os. To get there I need to take two busses, and to get there in time I need to get up much earlier than I prefer on a Sunday. With a sprained ankle and much too little sleep I limped to the bus stop. Getting up this early on a Sunday might just put me in a bad mood, but the weather this day kept that from happening. As usual I was armed with a camera and I took this picture at the busstop while my first bus for the day came.

Being in churches isn't my favorite pasttime and the reverend at this church had a slow and annoying speach, but eventually the confirmation was over and we could get a picture of all the kids. My sister is the blonde one with her chin raised.

Those where the only half decent picture I took during the day. I didn't take any pictures during the celebration with my family afterwards, but the others took lots so after posing for the usual family shots I didn't want to take any myself.
However, I did take this picture of today's lunch. A new, for me, version of Gazpacho. Gazpacho originated in Sevilla, Spain, and this version is from Sevilla.

On Saturday, while on my way to the doctor to get an xray of my ankle (to see if it was broken) these two ducks wandered down our street. Knowing that ducks find a mate for life, and doesn't find a new mate when the first one dies I find them a romantic animal so I had to take a picture.
