After an our or two in the park we figured it was time to buy some food. After discussing our options with some friends of Eli and Trine who also wanted in on the meal, we figured burgers would be nice. The choice was made due to adding up the preferences of all the involved eaters and as Ivar turned out to be quite picky burgers was among the few options he had no problems with. Some beers were easily added to our grocery list, and it was time to head home to do some cooking. As I seem to be the only one who actually enjoys cooking I was the head chef for the evening. Occasional help was received, but too much of the help consisted of handing me beers and I got tipsy far too early. Adding this up with having to wait for an hour and a half longer than scheduled before we could eat the meal didn't turn out particularly memorable. Easily among the worst meals I've ever prepared.
As the evening progressed I was not the only one getting "under the influence" and the meal was soon forgotten. We shot a lot of pictures during the night and I've chosen to describe it with the following few. The first is me lying on the floor.
I guess playing Trivial Pursuit wore me out as much as it seems to despair Trine.
A little break on the veranda was needed.
Then we headed back in to do some posing for more or less interesting shots of the three of us.
